History of Tirupati Special Entry Darshan
Special entry Darshan (Seeghra darshanam) is introduced on 21- September 2009 to supply quick darshan to the pilgrims.however with the large crowd even this darshan may takes 3 to 4 hours depends on the gang and far quite that in weekends.
The cost of ticket is Rs 300/- per pilgrim with 1 laddu freed from cost and booking is open around the clock.The advance booking of Special entry darshan is introduced with effective from 24 aug 2014.
e-Special Entry Darshan Ticket Costs Rs.300 per person.e-Special entry Darshan tickets are available at e-Darshan counters in Tirupati, which are located at
- Opposite Renigunta Railway station
- Sri Vari Sannidhi which is on the way to Kapila Theertham.

- And there's no possibility to vary slot either online or offline.
- And therefore the ticket is non-transferable from person to person.
- For e-Special Entry Darshan, Dress code applies, For Men White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta, Pyjama. and for Ladies,it is Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree.
- Not to upload a photograph while booking Rs.300 tickets.
- Children under 12 years don’t need darshan or Seva tickets. It is free entry. If your kid is near to 10 years, it is advisable to carry id proof.
- The pilgrim should not carry any luggage/cell phones/ electronic gadgets while reporting.
- Entry with foot wear is not permitted into the queue lines, mada streets and temple.
