Vasanthotsavam Procedure and Experience
Vasanthotsavam is an Arjiitha Seva performed to Lord Sri Venkateswara daily in Tirumla. Originally, Vasanthotsavam is an annual seva which is conducted per annum within the month of November. But as of now, Vasanthotsavam is performed daily to the Lord Sri Venkateswara with an slight small style. This Vasanthotsavam which is performed daily is out there for pilgrims to book and attend. This Vasanthotsavam seva is conducted within the Vaibhavotsava Mantapam. The seva is obtainable to Sri Malayappa swami and His consorts – Sridevi and Bhudevi.
The Seva begins with the scents which is applied to the Lord and his consorts, with the chants of Purusha Suktam, Narayana Suktam, Shri Suktam and Bhu Suktam followed by Abhishekam with sacred water, milk, curd, honey and turmeric. After this, Sandal paste is applied to the idols and a few upacharas are performed.
Once this is often completed, the seva are going to be finished with pouring down the water as shower on the idols through a Sahasradhara Patram.The experience of the Vasanthotsavam is extremely great and therefore the abhishekam with various scents and a number of other spiritual objects gives an excellent immense pleasure. The ticket holders are given 2 small laddus as prasadam.

The Arjitha Vasanthotsavam is perfomed from 2.30 PM daily. - Vasanthotsavam Seva Timings: 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
- Ticket cost: Rs.200 per person. One can book 2 tickets using 1 login ID.
- The devotees are allowed to have Darshan thru Supadam after Seva. It is a Daily Seva in Tirumala at Vaibhavotsava Mandapam (Near Rambagicha Guesthouse).
- Children under 12 years are allowed with no extra charges. The devotee must carry Ticket print and Original ID proof to avail Seva and Darshan entry.
- Seva tickets online quota will be released Every month 1st Friday at 10:00 am.

Vasanthotsavam in Tirumala
According to the temple Legend, the Vasanthotsavam Festival was started during the amount of King Achyutaraya within the 1460s. This annual fete was believed to possess introduced by the King to mark the arrival of Spring Season. Lord and his Consorts are given an aromatic bath on these three days which is believed to offer a soothing relief to the deities from the scorching Sun. Vasanthotsavam in Tirumala is being observed as a daily Arjitha Seva and also annual three-day Seva during the spring season.
Vasanthotsavam starts with Punya Vachanam (purification rites), Vaasthu Santhi (worship of deity and lord of nature and their elements and natural forces also as lord and deity of directions and environment) and Samprokshanam (sprinkling of water as a symbol of purification) rituals are performed by the temple priests in Ekantam.
Later the processional deities decorated in “Dhawala Vastrams”(draped in white silk clothes) seated on the Abhishekapeetham rendered aromatic bath with holy ingredients by a team of Archakas and eventually , the Utsavam Murthi (deities ) are decorated with the sacred “Tulasi Malas” and rendered Harati.
